Coronavius (COVID-19) Update 10/9/20

Little Monsters Market- Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update as of 10/9/20- MARKETS ARE SLOWLY STARTING TO RE-OPEN. THIS WILL BE DEPENDENT UPON THE AREA AND VENUES ALLOWING US TO DO SO. ALL OF OUR MARKETS ARE COVID-19 SECURE.

We have taken reasonable steps to protect our event organisers and all our customers from the risks of Coronavirus. In line with the Government Guidelines, we have carried out a full risk assessment for each of our venues and put in place several safety measures which will be monitored and reviewed constantly throughout.

Please see the attached document Staying Covid-19 Secure in 2020 Certificate, which shows that we are following the latest UK Government Guidance and we are working hard to ensure the safety of all that attend our events.

Covid-19 Customer Guidelines

All customers, including stallholders and shoppers, must at all times, adhere to all the safety measures that have been put in place by the event organiser at the market.

All customers should respect the responsibilities of the venue by adhering to social distancing measures, one-way systems and one out- one in policies that have been put in place at the venues.

Event attendees must adhere to the current Government Guidance about the limit of group gatherings within any indoor venue. (Currently a Max. of 6 people from within two households).

Please use the hand sanitiser provided at the entrance and exit of the market and wash your hands following Government Guidelines where possible.

Do not attend the market if-

  • You are experiencing or have been experiencing any Covid-19 symptoms within the last 10 days leading up to the market. These include, a new cough, a high temp or loss of taste or smell.
  • You have been in close contact with someone with confirmed/suspected Covid-19 symptoms within the last 14 days prior to the market.
  • You have been contacted by NHS Test and Trace and have been requested to isolate.
  • If you have returned from a country within the last 14 days that is currently on the UK quarantine list.

Face masks/coverings must be worn unless exempt in all of our markets inline with the Government Guidance for Indoor Markets.

NHS TEST AND TRACE

To support the NHS test and trace team respond to any local coronavirus outbreaks, businesses like ours have been asked by the government to collect basic contact details from their customers (name and contact number).

This information will be requested upon arrival. Your details will only be stored for 21 days, in a GDPR safe environment and not be used for any marketing purposes. The only time it will be accessed if requested by the NHS test and trace team. After 21 days your contact details will be removed securely.

Symptoms of Covid-19

If anyone becomes unwell with symptoms of COVID-19 (a new continuous cough or a high temperature) at the venue they should go home and be advised to follow the stay at home guidance. If they need clinical advice they should go online to NHS 111 (or call 111 if they don’t have internet access). In an emergency, call 999 if they are seriously ill or injured or their life is at risk. They should not visit the GP, pharmacy, urgent care centre or a hospital.

Other people who may have been in contact with a person who has become unwell should wash their hands thoroughly after the interaction, but they do not need to take any other specific action unless they develop symptoms themselves or are advised to do so by NHS Test and Trace. If they do develop symptoms they should follow the stay at home guidance.

This is a new situation for us all and we are working extremely hard to make our markets enjoyable, whilst of course making the safety of all that attend them including our event organisers, staff, stallholders and shoppers our main priority by following the Government Guidelines. Our markets are all Covid-19 secure and will therefore need to see a few changes to allow us to reopen them.
